چکیده
Translation among multiple representations is one of the important abilities to be possessed by prospective mathematics teachers. The learning curriculum ranging from elementary college level needs emphasize ability translate mathematical ideas in a form representation different structures. Assessing this because it can used as basis for developing other literacy skills. purpose study describe translation between A descriptive qualitative was conducted fourty teachers State Islamic University Mataram. selection research subjects carried out purposive sampling. Data were obtained translational thinking task an assignment sheet consisting 2 questions related quadratic equations and task-based interviews. analyzed using fixed comparison analysis, which comparing incidents (phenomena) with aim classifying data. found five levels representations, named: 0, 1, 2, 3 4. characteristics each are built based on four processes: unpacking source coordinating initial stage, design target determine equivalence representations. findings could guide develop instrument assess ability.

today, information technology and computers are indispensable tools of any profession and translation technologies have become an indispensable part of translator’s workstation. with the increasing demands for high productivity and speed as well as consistency and with the rise of new demands for translation and localization, it is necessary for translators to be familiar with market demands an...
A Framework for Synchronized Editing of Multiple Curve Representations
Editing curves and surfaces is difficult in part because their mathematical representations rarely correspond to most people’s idea of a curve or surface. The implementation (and hence, behavior) of most manipulation tools is intertwined with a particular curve or surface representation; this can make reimplementing the tool with a different representation problematic. A system using a single r...
متن کاملDeFT: A conceptual framework for considering learning with multiple representations
Multiple (external) representations can provide unique benefits when people are learning complex new ideas. Unfortunately, many studies have shown this promise is not always achieved. The DeFT (Design, Functions, Tasks) framework for learning with multiple representations integrates research on learning, the cognitive science of representation and constructivist theories of education. It propos...

If Geographic Information Systems (GISs) contain multiple representations of the same geographic objects at different levels of detail, it becomes necessary to compare the different representations and assess whether they contradict each other or not. Topological information is generally considered first-class geographic information and as such the preservation of topological relations among ob...
